Sage Pharmacy at Headlands Surgery to close on 4 September
Sage Pharmacy will close at the surgery on Friday 4 September 2026 and relocate to another site.
The pharmacy is not run by the surgery, but we are sorry for any inconvenience the move may cause, particularly given the short notice.
We are looking at other local pharmacy arrangements, although this is likely to take a few months. We will keep you updated as this work progresses.
In the meantime, we want to make sure you know what pharmacy options are available nearby.
Many of you are used to using the pharmacy at the surgery to collect prescriptions, buy over-the-counter medicines or access other pharmacy services.
We have therefore listed some nearby pharmacies that may be convenient for you while we look at longer-term arrangements.

Changing where we send your prescriptions
If you would like us to send your prescriptions to a different pharmacy, you can change your nominated pharmacy at any time.
Your nominated pharmacy is the pharmacy we send your electronic prescriptions to. You can then collect your medicines from that pharmacy.
The easiest way to change your nominated pharmacy is through the NHS App. Go to Prescriptions and select Your chosen pharmacy.
How to request a repeat prescription and change your nominated pharmacy using the NHS App
If you prefer, you can tell our reception team or your clinician which pharmacy you would like us to send your prescriptions to.
