Get involved in Research

Lakeside Healthcare Research is currently recruiting for two new studies
- VCA25397 study
- Anchor Clinical Research study
VCA25397 study
Did you know RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) and HMPV (human metapneumovirus) infections can lead to serious heart and lung illnesses, hospital stays and even death in older adults?
The VCA25397 Study is testing an investigational study vaccine to see if it can safely protect against RSV and HMPV in adults 60 years of age and older. Volunteers will have a 50% chance of receiving the study vaccine and a 50% chance of receiving placebo.
You may be eligible if you
- Are 60 years of age or older
- Are generally healthy
- For women: Are postmenopausal (no longer able to become pregnant)
- Have not previously received a vaccine for RSV
Participation is voluntary and you can choose to stop participating at any time.
Anchor Clinical Research study
The Anchor Clinical Research study is investigating flu prevention. Help us hold steady as we continue to navigate towards a healthier flu season.
You may be able to take part if you:
- Are 12 years or older
- Are at higher risk of developing flu complications because of a medical condition (like moderate or severe asthma), certain medications, or are 65 years or older and in good health.
