COVID-19 Vaccination Update -April 1st 2021
We continue to work hard to deliver the COVID-19 vaccine to eligible patients in the priority groups 1-9. In the last few weeks, we have been attempting to contact eligible patients that, according to our records, have not yet received their first dose. If you are in cohorts 1-9 and have not yet had your first vaccination, please contact us so we can arrange an appointment for you.
We have now started delivering second doses, with appointments usually falling between 11 and 12 weeks after your first vaccination. As we receive confirmation of second dose vaccine deliveries, we will contact patients to book their appointments. In the meantime, please do not contact the practice unless we have left you a message asking you to contact us to arrange your 2nd dose. We will contact you when it is the right time to book your appointment.
The one exception to this is if you received your first vaccination more than three months ago but have not been contacted yet. If this is the case please get in touch with the practice.
Patients in Cohorts 10, 11 & 12 (ages 18 – 49)
We understand our patients are eager to have the vaccine but if you are not in the top 9 cohorts you are not eligible yet. Please do not contact the surgery. The NHS will let you know when it's your turn by letter.
Whether you have had the vaccine or not, please continue to follow all the guidance in place to control the virus and save lives.
