Results & Feedback
The Headlands Surgery has a
‘virtual’ patient participation group with which all interaction
takes place via e mail and the surgery website.
The PPG were contacted in October 2013 and asked what they
thought was their greatest concern in relation to the services
that the surgery provided. 55% stated that this was the
availability and booking of appointments. This response was
addressed by this survey, a summary of which follows. Results
from the most important aspects of the appointment system are
shown below, which are very similar to those from last year.

NHS Changes to sharing patient data
Information about you and the care
you receive is shared, in a secure system, by healthcare staff
to support your treatment and care.
It is important that the NHS can use this information to plan
and improve services for all patients. NHS England would like to
link information from all the different places where you receive
care, such as your GP, hospital and community service, to help
provide a full picture. This will allow NHS England to compare
the care you received in one area against the care you received
in another, so we can see what has worked best.
