The nurse will renew dressings, remove sutures, syringe ears,
take blood and urine samples, carry out travel vaccinations and
give advice. Immunisations and smear tests are also
carried out by our nurses. |

The practice midwives can help with all aspects of pregnancy and
the postnatal period. Messages can be left either by
ringing the surgery or the labour ward of Kettering Maternity
Unit. |

Two fully qualified and experienced counsellors attend the
surgery each week. If you feel you would benefit from this
service, please discuss it with your doctor. |

A fully qualified dietician from Kettering General Hospital
attends twice a month. All dietary advice is given
including weight reduction, healthy eating and help with special
medical diets required in certain illnesses and conditions. |

Our health care assistant supports our team of doctors and
nurses and she is available Monday to Friday 8.00 am - 12.00 noon
