| Our manager,
Mrs Claire Mee, is responsible for the organisational
and administrative side of the practice. She is available and will
be pleased to receive any comments, compliments or complaints concerning
any aspect of patient services. |
Practice Nurses
The practice employs highly skilled nurses
trained in the monitoring and treatment of chronic diseases such as
asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, kidney disease, HRT, contraception, coronary heart disease, COPD and
high blood pressure. They are also trained in the assessment and
management of minor illnesses. Routine and urgent appointments to
see a practice nurse may be made with our receptionists.

- The treatment room is open 8.30am - 12.30pm and 1.30pm -
6.00pm Monday - Friday

The nurse will renew dressings, remove sutures, syringe ears,
take blood and urine samples, carry out travel vaccinations and
give advice. Immunisations and smear tests are also
carried out by our nurses. |

Our health visitors can counsel and advise on all aspects of
health care to all age groups but particularly to families with
young children, the elderly and the disabled.

The practice midwife can help with all aspects of pregnancy and
the postnatal period. Messages can be left either by
ringing the surgery or the labour ward of Kettering Maternity
Unit. |

Two fully qualified and experienced counsellors attend the
surgery each week. If you feel you would benefit from this
service, please discuss it with your doctor. |

Our Health Care Assistants support our team of doctors and
nurses and are available Monday to Friday 8.00 am – 12.30 pm for
blood tests, blood pressure checks and hypertension reviews. |

The Wellbeing Team |
|

The Wellbeing clinics are run by Primary Care practitioners and
their aim is to support people who are experiencing difficulties
with their mental health. They provide a range of interventions
to assist recovery and appointments are booked at reception
following consultation with the GP. For further information
